Brief Description : An exciting opportunity has arisen for a keen apprentice to join the kitchen team at The Belgrave Rooms, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.

 

Qualifications Required : Previous experience and skills in the Catering field would be an advantage.
Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.

Up to 360 guests can dine there in a banquet style setting. With its beautiful period features, the Ionic Suite can comfortably hold up to 200, including wedding receptions, birthdays, christenings and funerals. They are also licensed for Civil Ceremonies.

Duties include:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly experienced team of chefs
learning all aspects of working in a kitchen environment producing exceptional
food using fresh locally sourced ingredients to a high standard in line with the
menu and ethos at Belgrave Rooms.
You will be working towards your Commis Chef Apprenticeship standard by
working alongside a highly skilled team of chefs assisting in a range of duties.
Duties include:
Food preparation including basic knife skills input in menu choices
Being creative and getting involved in the business aspects (costings etc.)
Working alongside trained chefs to gain cooking skills and knowledge
Making sure the kitchen is clean, tidy and free of hazards
Plating up meals in a presentable and creative manner in line with menu
specifications
Getting food out to customers in a timely manner
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Using fresh locally sourced ingredients
This is a great opportunity to work with an established company with excellent
training and support with good progression routes for the right candidate.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 40 hours per week, Mon - Sun shifts 9.00 - 21.00
Salary : £246.00 Per Week
