Brief Description : Hotel Du Vin in Exeter have an exciting new opportunity and are recruiting for a new apprentice production Chef to join the team and complete a level 2 Commis Chef qualification in partnership with award-winning training provider HIT Training.


Qualifications Required : An employer will determine their own entry requirements for an employee to commence this apprenticeship, but these general entry requirements apply; you have to be aged 16 years or over and must be working in the hospitality and catering sector for at least 30 hours a week. You also need to be a resident in England and not taking part in full-time education.

Hotel Du Vin is looking for apprentice Production Chef’s with Immediate Starts available.

Main duties:
• To follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen.
• To ensure stock is controlled and rotated.
• Work with the chef de Partie to ensure mis-en-place is completed.
• Clean the section and other areas as directed.
• To be aware of the security of stock, access and keys at all times.
• To maintain levels of service that consistently exceeds the expectations of our guests.
• To avoid wastage at all times, and ensure it is stored securely and safely.
• To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 45 hours a week
Salary : £369.45 Per Week
