Brief Description : The Royal Oak have an exciting opportunity for a budding chef to join their busy kitchen team, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.


Qualifications Required : None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
Vacancy Detail : The Royal Oak is a traditional village pub, they are looking for a budding chef to join their kitchen team ,learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.

Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 30 Hours minimum
Salary : £150.00 Per Week

Good sense of humour
Some confidence
Skills Required : Food safety and hygiene.
Good Kitchen skills
Some experience
Also be able to use initiative

Training to be Provided : Commis Chef apprenticeship Level 2
Maths and English if required
