Brief Description : An exciting new position is available for a Commis Chef to join the close, vibrant team at Tomahawk Steak House. A new and exciting opportunity to work with this team in the kitchen preparing, cooking and service of food for their vast menu.
Qualifications Required : None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
Vacancy Detail : Tomahawk Steak House serves the finest Himalayan salt dry-aged steaks, Wagyu and other great local meat, fish & vegetarian dishes.
They have an opportunity for an apprentice to join them and work alongside their close team, under the guidance of the head chef, in order to produce and serve a variety of dishes. Learning about preparation and cooking techniques that can support the team on a daily basis. Using a number of different techniques as well as maintaining high levels of food safety. Alongside this the successful applicant would be working towards gaining a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.
Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control
Number of Positions Available : 2
Working Week : 30 Hours a week
Salary : £150.00 Per Week
