Brief Description : Little Rascals Private Day Nursery are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, friendly, confident and reliable member of staff to join their excellent team. During your time with them you will train towards a Level 2 Children and Young Person Qualification.

 

Qualifications Required : GCSE Grade 3 (D) or above in English and Maths or equivalent, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.

Job Description:
Adhering to the policies and procedures of the Nursery
Ensuring confidentiality is maintained in the Nursery
Working as part of a team to ensure correct safeguarding procedures are followed
The care and supervision of the children with regards to their physical, emotional and developmental needs
The planning and preparation of activities to meet children's individual requirements
Participating in activities and events
Liaising with parents
Keeping records and updating observation files
Attending staff meetings
Helping and supervising with meals and snacks
Supporting the development of the childcare provision
Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun
Being a team player
Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children appropriately
Undertaking First Aid training as required
Undertaking training as appropriate to meet any changes in standards or appropriate legal requirements as required
Ensuring that all Health and Hygiene requirements are adhered to at all times
Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery and management
Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children
Being creative and enthusiastic
Working within confidentiality guidelines
Number of Positions Available : 2
Working Week : 37.5 Hours a week
Salary : £146.25 Per Week
