Brief Description : Have you already completed a level 2 Professional Cookery or Commis Chef qualification? The Horse and Jockey are looking for an apprentice to undertake a Level 3 Production Chef Apprenticeship as a new member of our kitchen team

 

Qualifications Required : A level 2 kitchen apprenticeship
Maths and English Grade C/4 or above
Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
Vacancy Detail : The Horse and Jockey is an award winning privately owned freehouse located in the idyllic village of Manton on the south shore of Rutland Water.
They are looking for an apprentice to join their busy kitchen team to work towards gaining a Level 3 Production Chef qualification, so if you already have completed a level 2 Professional Cookery or Commis Chef qualification, this could be the role for you!

Duties will include
- Working in all areas of the kitchen to include cooking and food service for all items on the menu
- Ordering
- Legalities
- Stock control
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 40 hours a week
Salary : £246.00 Per Week

Training to be Provided : Level 2 Food Production Chef Apprenticeship. Maths and English if required.
Other Information : We are in a village and the buses do not run on a Sunday - please ensure you have a means of getting to and from your shifts before you apply.
Hourly rate starting at £6.15 per hour to be discussed based on prior experience
Things to consider : You will be learning to run all aspects of our kitchen under the supervision of our Head Chef
Open 7 days a week, straight and split shifts on rota earliest 10am latest finish 9.30pm
