Qualifications Required : None required however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
Passion and good knowledge of food, passion for dessert making would be useful but not essential
Vacancy Detail : Brought together in 2012, Tayberry Foods small but diverse team combines over 30 years experience in the restaurant and catering industry.

They are looking for a keen apprentice to join the team and learn the trade alongside working to gain a Level 2 Production Chef Qualification. This a a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to start their career in a kitchen and learn the trade from Head Chef Simon. Together they have a wealth of knowledge and experience catering for events of kinds, from weddings to corporate events, and from mud runs to photo and film shoots.

Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 25 Hours a week
Salary : £112.50 Per Week

Training to be Provided : Level 2 Food Production Chef Apprenticeship.
Maths and English if required.
Other Information : The applicant will be trained by a highly qualified Chef with over 21 years in the outside catering sector.
Things to consider : Rural location, however a train station and bus service is half a mile walk . Would be ideal for a driver or access to transport.
Monday - Sunday 5 days with variable days off
Hours will vary depending on season; Summer season will require significantly longer working week than Winter- 25 approx. average
