Vacancy Detail : Wollaton Village Day Nursery Ltd is part of the family owned, Wollaton Village Nurseries Limited group. The nursery was registered in 1994 and is situated in the Wollaton area of Nottingham. It is a self-contained building.
If you looking for an opportunity to work in childcare, Wollaton Village Day Nursery are looking to recruit a level 2 Childcare Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to enhance skills. Alongside this the successful applicant will be working to gain their Level 2 Children and Young People's Workforce Qualification.
Duties within the role include:
• Providing and helping with activities for the children
• Personal Care of the children
• Setting up activities and clearing them away
• Ensuring that the nursery is kept clean and tidy
• Supporting the children’s development
• Supporting the children at meal times
• Dealing with parent enquiries and updates
• Ensuring any relevant paperwork is completed
• Contributing to planning & child development
• Changing nappies, supporting potty training and feeding
• Other general duties as and when required
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 30 Hours a week
Salary : £111.00 Per Week

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Punctuality (this is critical due to staff to child ratios)

Training to be Provided : Children and Young People's Workforce Intermediate Apprenticeship
Maths, English and ICT if required
Other Information : You must be eligible to work in the UK in order to apply for this role. The successful applicant will be subject to DBS checks and must be willing to subscribe to DBS Service Updates.
Things to consider : Hours fluctuate between 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday. 30 hours per week.
