Qualifications Required : An employer will determine their own entry requirements for an employee to commence this apprenticeship, but these general entry requirements apply; you have to be aged 16 years or over and must be working in the hospitality and catering sector for at least 30 hours a week. You also need to be a resident in England and not taking part in full-time education.
Vacancy Detail : We’re currently looking for a Food Production Assistant Apprentice to assist the Head Chef/Sous Chef in the kitchen operation and ensure the company’s reputation for food quality is maintained at all times. You will be working at an international law firm in the heart of the City, very close to Liverpool Street station. The successful candidate will work from Monday to Friday, predominantly 7:00 - 15:30 (with occasional overtime for events).
Your duties will include:
Your main responsibility will be to look after the hospitality sandwiches section with the guidance of the Head Chef
Assisting the grab&go and deli bar section preparation when necessary
Occasionally working on the live cooking station, cooking in front of clients while talking to them
Contribute to the development and planning of menus, including future food trends and be passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts in the location.
Support management with stock taking when required.
Carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate.
Carrying out all open/close and cleandown procedures on a daily basis.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Monday to Friday 7:00 - 15:30, 40 hours a week
Salary : £250.00 Per Week
