Brief Description : The Kings Arms are looking for a motivated, friendly individual to join their front of house team.


Qualifications Required : None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process
Vacancy Detail : The Kings Arms at Haughley are looking for a friendly, reliable apprentice to join their front of house team, to provide excellent customer service, learn the trade and gain a qualification.

Duties will include.
Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service
Respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally
Maintain quality control for all food served
Front of house ordering and stock management
Cellar management
Ensuring all health and safety procedures are being met at all times including opening/closing checklists
Supervising the floor during food service times
Communicating effectively with guests, responding with appropriate actions
Ensuring food quality and service standards are met at all times, and taking action where necessary
Helping with staff training for new and current members of staff
Effectively documenting reservations and dealing with larger group bookings/pre orders etc in line with the business procedures
Gathering feedback from guests concerning service, food and beverage offering
Positively promoting and improving the business at all times
Giving a 5 start service to customer at all times
Answering the calls
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 30 wednesday to sunday over split shifts
Salary : £210.00 Per Week

Training to be Provided : Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship Level 2
Maths and English if required
Other Information : Earliest start time is 11am and latest finish time 11pm , 30 hours a week, Wednesday to Sunday over split shifts
Things to consider : Public transport links are not good so access to transport will be required.
As well as the apprenticeship the business owners will invest time in extra external qualifications including certificated WSET training, personal licencing and cellar management.
