Vacancy Detail : The Churchill Theatre in Bromley is one of 12 venues within HQ Theatres & Hospitality’s (HQT&H) current portfolio of regional theatres and concert halls. HQT&H combine their theatrical expertise with excellence in hospitality; hosting not only pre-show dining but also staging a range of entertainment-based dining events, as well as private and corporate parties, dinner dance functions, weddings, and product launches, to name but a few.
We are looking for an ambitious and organised self-starter who is keen to get started with a career in hospitality. They will have the ability to use clear and engaging communication skills to welcome all customers and visitors into our venue. This includes, but is not limited to, general guidance and way finding for customers, answering queries, and acting as welcome host for customers on arrival.
The successful candidate will maintain a flexible attitude towards the operation of all points of sale and have the ability to move between stations when on duty. They will confidently promote the unique selling points of the business and the promotions available to customers. Adhering to all Group and Theatre Health & Safety at Work procedures, they will help minimise the risk of injury and accidents, personal and to others and will ensure all work spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, giving a positive first impression.
Your duties will include:
*Serving Food and Drinks, adhering to Food safety,licensing laws and Health and safety procedures.
*Welcoming Visitors and Guests and reporting on any issues with maintenance, supplies, facilities.
*Taking orders for food, drink and general assistance to ensure smooth operational running of the Theatre and public areas.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 30 Hours p/w incl. evenings, weekends,B/Hols
Salary : £111.00 Per Week
