Brief Description : An exciting opportunity for a Commis Chef Apprentice to start a career in a beautiful Georgian Manor house with hotel and spa facilities
Qualifications Required : An employer will determine their own entry requirements for an employee to commence this apprenticeship, but these general entry requirements apply; you have to be aged 16 years. You also need to be a resident in England and not taking part in full-time education.
Vacancy Detail : Responsible to our extensively experienced team of Chefs you will learn to prepare and cook local, fresh and nutritious food that supports our optimal well-being. Working with the gardening team you will learn from their holistic approach to growing our own vegetables and making our destination as sustainable as it can possibly be. You will learn to make our food offering from scratch adhering to our zero percent waste objectives and developing skills in charcuterie, smoking, fermenting and other forms of natural preservation. You will bake bread and cakes and prepare the full spectrum of wholesome breakfasts to lunch buffets to a higher end evening service. You will work as part of a wider team of apprentices all benefiting from an enhanced level of development and training to ensure that The Elmhurst Foundation succeeds in its objective to train local apprentices to fulfil their potential and develop a sound foundation from which to embark on a successful career. You will take part in work and study placements in other well-known and regarded establishments.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 40 Hours working rota including weekends
Salary : £175.00 Per Week

Training to be Provided : Commis Chef Level 2
